Titans Surge To Victory Over Eagles At Home

Darlington, S.C.- The Trinity Collegiate Varsity Volleyball team squared off against the Pee Dee Academy Eagles in the friendly confines of Sonoco Gymnasium on Thursday night. After falling to the Eagles in three close sets last week down in Mullins, the Titans would perservere in five sets at home. After starting strong with a 25-11 win the first set, the Titans would go on to take the second set in a nailbiter, 25-23. Pee Dee would go on to take a close third set, 25-22, before a decisive victory in the fourth set, 25-15. This forced a winner-take-all 5th set where the Titans would prevail, 15-12. Trinity is back in action on Monday as they head to Bishopville to take on Lee Academy. The match is scheduled to start at 5 P. M.
