Titans Compete in Battle at the Castle

Florence, S.C.-  The Trinity Collegiate Varsity Volleyball team competed in the Battle for the Castle tournament at West Florence High School on Saturday. The Titans got underway early in the morning with an 8 AM match vs. Hartsville High School. The Titans would fall in a close match to the Red Foxes, losing by two points in the decisive third set. 

Trinity would then square off with another SCHSL opponent, Crestwood High School, to close out pool play. The Titans bounced back strong and collected a 2-0 victory over the Knights.

In the elimination round, the Titans would again face off with the Red Foxes from Hartsville High School, and again fell just short, dropping a close three set match. 

The Titans are back in action on Tuesday, August 26th when they will make the short trip to take on Virtus Academy. The match is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM.
