Lei Leads Titans at Wilson Hall
Sumter, SC — The Trinity Collegiate girls' track & field team delivered a strong showing across multiple events at the Wilson Hall Meet #2, highlighted by a distance victory, several top-three finishes, and solid performances on the track and in the field.
Eighth-grader Jubilee Lei led the way for the Titans, capturing the 3200-meter run title with a time of 14:36.29. Lei also added a strong performance in the 1600 meters, finishing 11th overall in 6:36.34, showcasing her endurance across the distance events.
Junior Crai'Anna Waiters turned in one of the Titans' top sprint performances of the day, placing second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:09.49. Waiters also contributed in the field events with a third-place finish in the long jump, posting a mark of 4.32 meters, and added a top-10 finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.89.
The Titans saw additional strong results in the long jump, where Gia Hieshetter placed fourth with a mark of 4.29 meters, and Morgan Pollett finished eighth at 4.17 meters.
Trinity's sprint group continued to show depth in the 100 meters, where Kloee Wilson finished eighth overall in 13.91, while Morgan Pollett, Gia Hieshetter, and Claire Brown also competed in the event.
Wilson added another solid performance in the 200 meters, finishing 13th overall with a time of 31.25.
In the middle-distance events, Mary Tiller Rabon placed 20th in the 800 meters in 3:12.02, while Riley Flowers followed in 24th place with a time of 3:17.57.
The Titans also contributed in the relay events, finishing fifth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 56.18.
With strong performances across the roster and several athletes finishing near the top of the standings, the Titans continued to gain valuable experience as they move further into the outdoor track and field season.
