Titans Sweep Eagles in Hilton Head

Hilton Head Island, SC- The Trinity Collegiate women's tennis team had a long road trip for their first away match of the season. The long drive did little to slow down the Titans, however, as they rolled to a 9-0 win over the host Eagles at the Spring Lake Raquet Club. 

At #1 Singles, Mahaley Swink defeated Zoe Solomon 6-0, 6-0

At #2 Singles, Chandler Hyman defeated Kate Vento 6-0, 6-0

At #3 Singles, Mary Woods Swink defeated Caroline Droyd 6-0, 6-0

At #4 Singles, Arya Patel defeated Amanda Horton 6-0, 6-0

At #5 Singles, Jane Hyman defeated Parker Bradford 6-0, 6-1

At #6 Singles, Riley Flowers defeated Alexandra Sosa 6-2, 6-1

Despite clinching the victory in singles play, the Titans and Eagles still contested doubles action as well. 

At #1 Doubles, Mary Woods Swink and Arya Patel defeated Solomon and Vento, 6-0

At #2 Doubles, Jane Hyman and Riley Flowers defeated Parker Bradford and Lucy Reese, 6-2

At #3 Doubles, Morgan Coker and Caroline Webb defeated Sadie Reed and Quinn Zwilsky, 7-5

The Titans return to action on Thursday, September 11th as they host Laurence Manning at the Florence Tennis Center. Start time is set for 4 PM.
