Titans Sweep Barons To Open Region Play

Florence, S.C.- The Titans opened region play with an impressive 9-0 victory over the Barons of Wilson Hall, collecting wins in all six singles matches as well as sweeping the three doubles matches.

At #1 Singles for Trinity, Mahaley Swink defeated Claudia Rhoads 6-1, 6-0.

Number 2 Singles saw Chandler Hyman defeat Harper Burke 6-1, 6-0.

At #3 Singles, Mary Woods Swink defeated Edna Lee Harris 6-7, 6-4, 10-8.

Number 4 Singles saw Arya Patel defeat Land Stevens 6-2, 6-0.

At #5 Singles, Jane Hyman defeated Cameron Kohl 6-3, 6-0.

Number 6 Singles saw Riley Flowers defeat Grace McArthur 6-0, 6-0

Moving to doubles play, Mahaley Swink & Chandler Hyman defeated Rhoads & Burke 8-1 at #1, Mary Woods Swink and Arya Patel defeated Harris & Stevens at #2 and Jane Hyman and Riley Flowers defeated Kohl & McArthur 6-3 at #3. 

Trinity is right back in action at home tomorrow as they host another region match against John Paul II. This match is scheduled for a 4 PM start at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
