Bio
Sarah Byrd is entering her third year at Trinity Collegiate School as the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach, bringing a total of five years of coaching experience to the program. Prior to joining Trinity, she spent three years at Coker University as an assistant coach, where she also served as interim head coach and earned a notable conference victory over Tusculum University.
At Trinity, Coach Byrd has been instrumental in helping launch the school’s girls’ lacrosse program, guiding its growth and establishing a strong foundation for future success.
Byrd graduated from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree, where she was a standout two-sport athlete in lacrosse and swimming. She earned GMAC Academic Conference Athlete honors, GMAC Honorable Mention recognition in lacrosse, and competed at a high level in the pool. She later earned her Master’s degree from Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina.
A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Byrd is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of her student-athletes and helping them build confidence both on and off the field.
She is supported by her family, including her husband, Dristian Byrd, her parents, Jon and Melissa White, and her brother, Cole White.
