Titan Boys Run to Team Victory in Home Meet
Darlington, SC- The Trinity Collegiate Boys' Cross Country team ran a strong race from start to finish in a resounding victory in their home meet on Tuesday. Junior Jake Warren came in first place, besting the field by more than a minute. Chase Basta (3rd) and Sam Peel (4th) made Titan runners three out of the top four finishers in the race. Tyren McElveen (7th) and Jake Sheehy (13th) finished out the top five for the Titans for a total of 28 points. South Florence came in second with 40 points, Saint Anthony was in third place with 63 points, Emmanuel Christian was fourth with 112 points and Williamsburg came in fifth with 116 points.
The Titans are next in action on Thursday, September 11th when they travel to Emmanuel Christian for their home meet. Start time is slated for 5:30 PM.
