Titans Post Regional and State Qualifiers at Wilson Hall

Sumter, SC- The Trinity Collegiate Boys' Track & Field team had a strong showing at Wilson Hall on Thursday evening. Garrison Copeland qualified for state in both the 100 meters and high jump, while Copleand, Johnathan Charles (100m and high jump), Kevin Iheanyichukwu (high jump) and Andre Jackson (long jump) posted regional qualifying marks.

Top five finishers for the Titans included:

• Garrison Copeland (high jump, 1st)
• Kevin Iheanyichukwu (high jump 2nd)
• Jake Warren (3200 meters, 2nd)
• Johnathan Charles (high jump, 3rd)
• Andre Jackson (long jump, 3rd)
• Cody Brewton (discus, 4th)
• Garrison Copeland (100 meters, 4th)
• Chase Basta (3200 meters, 5th)
• Aiden Lucas (400 meters, 5th)

Trinity will be back in action next Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, March 31st the middle school athletes will head to Wilson Hall to compete for the SCISA Middle School State Championship while the high school athletes will head to Sumter on Wednesday, April 1st to compete in the Wilson Hall Meet #5. Start time for both meets is set for 4:00 PM.
