Bio
Drew Anker joins Trinity Collegiate School as the head coach of the Men’s and Women’s Golf programs while also serving as a Math teacher. He brings 14 years of coaching experience across multiple sports and a proven record of building successful teams.
Anker most recently served as the Head Golf Coach at Hough High School (2022–2025), where he was named the 2025 Queen City Conference Coach of the Year. Prior to that, he led the golf program at Cox Mill High School (2011–2022), earning three South Piedmont Conference Coach of the Year honors. In addition to golf, Anker also spent more than a decade coaching football, serving as Quarterbacks Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Cox Mill and Union Pines High School.
A former quarterback himself, Anker played at Western Carolina University from 2002–2005 before continuing his academic journey at the University of Alabama and UNC Charlotte. His passion for coaching comes from helping young men and women reach their full potential, both on and off the course, while developing lifelong skills.
Originally from Pinehurst, North Carolina, Anker now resides in Florence with his wife, Kelsey, and their two chocolate labs, Haley and Hudson.
