Preston Surpasses 1,000 Career Points

Darlington, SC- An incredible milestone in a legendary high school career was reached on Friday night in Sonoco Gymnasium in the Titans' 61-57 win over Laurence Manning Academy. On a putback with 7:48 remaining in the 3rd Quarter, Senior Jy'ell Preston (Darlington, SC/Darlington Middle School) scored his 12th point of the night, which also pushed him past 1,000 career points in his illustrious Titan career.

The game was halted momentarily while the entire gym recognized this accomplisment and Preston was able to celebrate with his family and teammates before returning to the business at hand of defeating the Swampcats.
