Preston, Lynch Help Titans Top Eagles To Remain Unbeaten In Region

Darlington, SC- Seniors Jy'ell Preston (Darlington, SC/Darlington Middle School) and Davidson Lynch (Florence, SC/All Saints' Episcopal Day School) scored 19 and 10 points respectively to help the Titans push past Hilton Head Christian, 67-53, to maintain their unblemished region record. After a tight first quarter ended with the Titans up by five, they would surge to a 14 point lead at the halftime break and never look back, leading by double digits for the rest of the contest. Trinity moves to 2-0 in region play and will square off with the Golden Warriors of John Paul II, who are also 2-0 in region, on Friday, January 16th. This road contest in Ridgeland is scheduled for a 7:30 PM tip-off.
