Trinity Collegiate School Names Booie Olson as Head Baseball Coach

Darlington, S.C. – Trinity Collegiate School proudly announces the appointment of Booie Olson as the new Head Baseball Coach. After interviewing multiple candidates, Director of Athletics Roy Boggess selected Olson for his proven commitment to Trinity Collegiate, his extensive coaching experience, and his dedication to building a culture of excellence.
Olson brings more than seven years of experience within Trinity's baseball program, along with five years coaching travel baseball. Most recently, he served as the varsity catcher's coach, where his leadership helped transform the position and produce an All-Region and All-State performer.
Beyond the diamond, Olson is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and serves as General Manager of Progressive Alloy, where he has worked for 24 years. With an average employee tenure of more than 12 years, Olson emphasizes the importance of culture and loyalty as the foundation for long-term success.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Olson moved to Florence in high school and graduated from West Florence. He and his wife Lindsey, a former standout soccer player at Columbia College and Coker, have been married for 20 years and have three children, including one currently attending Trinity.
"I interviewed several outstanding candidates, but Coach Olson distinguished himself through his unwavering loyalty to Trinity Collegiate and his proven ability to inspire excellence on and off the field," said Boggess. "We look forward to his leadership as he builds Titan Baseball in a way that reflects the culture and values of our school."
Olson will begin his new role immediately and will lead the Titans into the upcoming season.
